Re: the March 11 article "GOP challenger plans 2nd attempt to unseat Bronson."
I felt bothered by a recent article in the Star about a retired businessman, Barney Brenner, who is running for public office.
Although the bulk of the article was largely well-written, the
opening sentence declared, "A retired auto-parts salesman is trying
again to unseat Democratic Pima County Supervisor Sharon Bronson."
The article goes on to cover Brenner's background, including that
he actually owned a three-store, auto-parts business. Operating a
successful, several-location business is an accomplishment. I met
Brenner in a professional exchange before he ran for office. Though it
didn't go the way I wanted, he was respectful and conveyed integrity.
To portray Brenner in the opening simply as a retired auto-parts
salesman comes off as a put-down. If he continues to demonstrate
honesty and capability, come election day he will have my vote.

That's right Jon, the Arizona Daily Star outright lied about a Republican to bolster a Democrat.
They lie to you often about illegal alien invaders by calling them warm fuzzy Liberal names that are not true. The Arizona Daily Star does this often to fool it's readers and promote the Democrat agenda to win elections with the illegal alien vote.
Wake up people, you are being sold out at every stage by the Democrats and the paper that supports the Democrat agenda to win elections with the illegal alien vote which is why the Arizona Daily Star was so against the voter ID law, it helped stop voter fraud which the Democrats need to win elections.
A vote for any Democrat is a vote to keep the border flood gates wide open so another 30 million illegal aliens can invade your home and take your job.

There is no doubt the Democrats here looked forward to the 4000th dead American so they could stand on the backs of the dead to destroy what they died for, freedom in Iraq for the Iraqi people.
But lets get real here. 4000 troops killed in what, about 6 years of way?
We lost that many in one battle in WW2, we lost more than 10 times that in Vietnam.
4000 dead after years of war is very very low and yet the Democrats act as if it more then a million which is how many Americans will die in the next Osama attack if we give him breathing room and bolster his power by giving up and running away like the Democrats want.
