Arizona Daily Star reader Dorothy V. Yennie seems very confused.
Dorothy stars out praising Democrat Gov. Janet Napolitano for vetoing abortion restrictions saying "her veto of abortion restrictions might influence our representatives to focus on the real issues of this country.might influence our representatives to focus on the real issues of this country".
Ah Dorothy this is a State issue not a federal issue and I'd rather our State Representatives focus on State issues like enforcing the employer sanctions law that is not being enforced in Pima County.
This is what Dorothy gets for depending on the Arizona Daily Star for her news.
then we get Charles McGinty
Charles makes some very good points but is too nice to Obama by not pointing out the fact that Obama supports racism against the hated "Whitey".
Obama says he will bring people together but hates white people so how is he going to "bring people together" unless he only means non Whitey people.
Charles, good letter.
Poor Patricia A. McKnight is next
Patrica sounds very confused, she says in part
"I agree that the Justice Department memo authorizing any and all forms
of torture when approved by the president, and proposing that a
president in "time of war" has unlimited authority to do whatever he
pleases, needs to be condemned."
quote Thomas Jefferson "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance."
Then goes on to say "In this case, we need vigilance against the excesses of and the
disregard for the rule of law in the executive branch of our government."
But poor Patrica does not seem to understand that it was NOT a "disregard for the rule of law", Congress can and did give the President that power.
Perhaps poor Patrica gets her news from the Arizona Daily Star but why does Patricia not know that even Democrat FDR had and used that same power for all of WW2 .
Example was the construction of the Atom Bomb, most of Congress was out of the loop as was all of the news outlets and the American people.
Should FDR be impeached post haste Patrica, dug up and hanged? Or are you only another liberal Democrat that is motivated by hatred of President Bush?
Get a grip.
The last letter comes from a smart woman Angie Fiscella who can clearly see the damage trying to shove Spanish down young children's throats is causing them,
All to make life easer for illegal aliens who are to lazy or to smug to bother trying to learn the language of Arizona English. Which BTW is why the English Learning scam is costing you so much of your hard earned wages.
Close the border and take away the jobs from illegal aliens and the English Learning class and it's cost to you and your children will be reduced to almost none. But the Democrats are the ones keeping the flow of invaders coming, all for the illegal alien vote.
Thank you Angie Fiscella and you Charles McGinty for such good letters amongst such liberal garbage.

You again get Michael B post 8 posting good war news the Arizona Daily Star will never tell it's readers because the Arizona Daily Star wants it's readers to think the war is lost.
Right after Michael B posts good war news the Arizona Daily star will not print ever the Democrats like Mike chime in with negative remarks and TD Michael B for giving you the good war news the Arizona Daily Star refuse to give you.
Remember good war news is bad news for the Democrats who are hoping to ride a lost war into the Whit House.

It seems to me that the wreck on Highway 90 should have been front page and should have been cried out with great indignation.
That is the third one in less than a week.
And no follow-up stories.

In the past week there have been three articles in other papers about the Mexican oil company PEMEX high-rolling down the tube but not a peep in the ADS.
This, if nothing else will, clearly demonstrates the sympathies and attitudes of the ADS for Mexico and illegal aliens
